NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A gunman shot at a clerk and a customer during a failed robbery at a Staten Island bodega this week, shocking video released Tuesday shows.
The would-be thief walked into Armstrong Convenience at Hylan Boulevard and Armstrong Avenue in Great Kills around 7:20 p.m. Sunday.
Video shows him briefly talking to a 48-year-old clerk at the counter before pulling a gun and demanding CBD vape products, police said.
When the worker refused to hand over the merchandise, the robber shot at him multiple times, according to police.
The crook also shot at a 48-year-old man who walked into the store during the robbery, police said.
The man ducked behind a shelf as debris exploded around him, video shows.

Neither the clerk nor the customer was struck by the gunfire, according to police.
