NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was injured as a man tried to steal her French bulldog in a revolving door at an office building in Lower Manhattan, police said Friday as they released video of the brazen robbery attempt.
The woman was walking her French bulldog into 61 Broadway in the Financial District on the afternoon of June 21, when the man followed her into the same partition of a revolving door, video shows.
As the woman and man were crammed together in the revolving door, the man tried to grab the dog in plain view of passersby.

During the struggle, the woman's head was "punched against the glass door," police said.
The woman was taken to an area hospital for a head injury.
The dog was not injured.
The suspect fled the location, police said. A surveillance image released Friday shows him walking down a street.
