NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials released surveillance footage on Tuesday of a suspect they are looking to identify in connection to a shooting that occurred following a dispute in Manhattan the previous day.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., on Monday, August 23, the suspect fired a shot at a 56-year-old male following a dispute that happened in the vicinity of West 31 Street and 7th Avenue in Midtown, authorities said.
According to police, the gunman then fired a shot, missing the intended target but striking a 58-year-old man in his right thigh.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The gunman fled the scene on foot southbound on 7th Avenue, officials said.
The suspect is described as a Black man who had on a black and red backpack. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
