NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD shared body camera footage on Wednesday showing three officers rescuing a man who fell onto the subway tracks in the Bronx earlier this week.

Three officers stationed at the Fordham Road station were alerted to a man falling onto the subway tracks around 2 a.m. on Monday.

The officers are seen running to the tracks and one officer is heard saying, "We have to stop the train," as she rushes towards the tracks in the video footage.

The officers rescued the man, and pulled him onto the platform in less than a minute.

EMS arrived at the scene, and the man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital for a head injury.
