NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Two NYPD officers rescued a man from subway tracks in Queens on Saturday after he fell just minutes before a train was approaching.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. when officers Jonathan Valle and David Carnarte were on duty at 90 Street and Roosevelt Avenue station.
The officers noticed a man on the train tracks, according to the bodycam footage shared by police.
Valle jumped down and picked up the 23-year-old man from the tracks, with the help of a bystander, lifting the man to Carnarte on the platform.
