NYPD releases new video in brazen fatal Brooklyn shooting amid search for gunman

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released disturbing video showing a young gunman shooting a man on a Brooklyn sidewalk this week as police searched for a suspect.

The fatal shooting happened at Clarkson Avenue and E. 53rd Street in East Flatbush around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The surveillance video, released late Thursday, shows the suspect pulling a gun out of a fanny pack and shooting a man on a Citi Bike at point-blank range outside of a deli.

The victim falls to the ground and the gunman runs off, the video shows.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Pierrot Simeon of Brooklyn, was shot multiple times, police said. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
