NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Video shows a man get off his e-scooter to punch a senior citizen on a Brooklyn sidewalk.
On Friday, Jan. 14, police said a suspect approached a 79-year-old man near 256 Fourth Ave. in Gowanus. It happened at about noon.
Video shows the suspect get off his e-scooter on a sidewalk, walk up to the man, who appears to be using a cane, and punch him in the head.

The suspect sprints back to his scooter and drives away, coming somewhat close to a collision with an oncoming car as he departs.
Cops released footage of the disturbing incident, also releasing a clear photo of the man they're looking for.
