NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A group of armed thieves drove up to a man on a Bronx street and robbed him of his jewelry before speeding off, video released by police Thursday shows.
The 45-year-old victim was standing next to his car, near Park Avenue and East 140th Street in Mott Haven, on Monday night when the four suspects rolled up in a dark-colored sedan around 11:15 p.m.
Video shows the group surrounding the victim. At least two of the suspects appear to have handguns.
The thieves demanded valuables from the victim at gunpoint, and he handed them a necklace, bracelet and two rings, police said.
The suspects then took off in the sedan.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
