NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man that dragged a 63-year-old woman during a robbery in the Bronx earlier this month.
On December 6, at approximately 5:13 p.m. the victim was approached by the suspect from behind in front of 3012 Third Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood.
The suspect then forced her to the ground and dragged her as he forcibly removed her purse from her person, according to police.
The victim sustained abrasions and bruises to her arms, legs, and hand.
The suspect fled with the purse southbound on Third Avenue with the victim's purse which contained approximately $20 dollars, and her bank and identification cards, officials said.
