NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A busy Upper East Side avenue was shut down after a water main break flooded the area for several hours Thursday morning.
WABC 7 reports the water company was able to shut down service to the area after water filled several lanes of Third Avenue between East 79th and East 80th streets.
The pavement reportedly started to dry as of Thursday afternoon.
