NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- New York City's month-long dreary streak is set to continue with occasional rain and drizzle Friday and Saturday—the seventh straight weekend with rain—just as chilly temps and gusty winds overtake the area.
Despite many pleasant weekdays this past month, there have been no dry weekends and this upcoming weekend will be no exception, according to AccuWeather, with passing showers around much of Saturday.
It rained all day Friday as the high reached about 65 in the city on an otherwise cloudy and generally dreary day.

Ribbons of heavy showers moved in from New Jersey and rolled through the area—wet weather that was set to continue during the evening commute and overnight with a rumble of thunder in spots.
Temps and RealFeels will dip into the 50s Friday night.
Clouds linger Saturday with steady rain early on. While conditions will clear, stray showers could pop up in the afternoon.

It will grow windier and chillier by Saturday night. The low will be 52, but RealFeels will be well into the 40s.
Cloudy skies will finally break Sunday for intervals of sun, despite an otherwise windy and chilly day.
The daytime high is supposed to hit 56 on Sunday as RealFeels stick to the 40s.
