
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are searching for a man who they say sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman on a northbound 4 train near Union Square on Saturday morning.
The suspect approached the victim around 3 a.m. and forcibly grabbed her legs while pressing his body into her, cops said.
He fled when bystanders on the train walked towards him, according to police, who said he was last seen at the 14th Street-Union Square station.
The NYPD released a photo of him on Monday. He's believed to be around 40 years old with black dreadlocks.
He was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
The victim was not physically injured.
