
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman was in critical condition after she fell into the path of a 7 train at a Queens station in an accident that snarled service during the Monday evening rush.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station in Jackson Heights.
According to police, a 23-year-old woman fell onto the tracks at the station and was struck by an incoming train.
She was rushed to to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in critical condition.
Train service between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main Street was temporarily suspended then running with delays.
An investigation is ongoing, but no criminality is suspected by authorities.
