NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 52-year-old woman stabbed her estranged former husband in the face in Midtown early Saturday morning.
The attack took place at the intersection of 31st Street and Sixth Avenue just before 1 a.m., according to police.
The New York Daily News reported the attacker and the victim were formerly married, though law enforcement could not confirm their relationship.
Emergency responders rushed the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
Officers arrested the woman, and charges against her are pending.
