Woman, 60, fatally struck by e-bike near Brooklyn Navy Yard

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 60-year-old woman died after being struck by an e-bike carrying two men while she was crossing a street near the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Monday morning, authorities said.

The crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Flushing Avenue and North Elliot Place. The woman had just gotten off a bus and was walking across a bike lane when she was hit, officials said.

The victim was rushed to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been released.

The two men on the e-bike, ages 39 and 41, were also taken to the same hospital in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
