NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 63-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and robbed on Staten Island last Thursday, police said Wednesday as they released video of the bandit.
It happened around 12 p.m. inside the Village Greens Park, located near 200 Nedra Lane in Arden Heights.
Cops said the victim was walking when a man approached her from behind, forced her to the ground and forcibly removed her pocketbook containing $500 cash before fleeing on foot toward Green Valley Road.

The victim refused medical attention.
The suspect is described as being around 5'8" tall with short, dark slicked back hair and a forearm tattoo. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan camouflage shorts, sunglasses and black and white Nike sneakers.
