NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 63-year-old woman suffered facial fractures after she was punched in an apparently random subway attack in Queens this week, police said.
The woman was on the southbound E line platform at the Kew Gardens–Union Turnpike subway station at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday when she was approached by a man, according to police.

The man punched the woman in the face with a closed fist then walked off, police said.
The woman was taken by EMS in stable condition to LIJ Forest Hills Hospital. Police said she suffered facial fractures.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect on Friday.
