NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect a robbery accused of pushing a woman to the ground then robbing her on a Bronx street last month, authorities said Monday.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24, in the vicinity of Westchester Avenue and Boynton Avenue in Soundview, the suspect approached a 68-year-old woman from behind, pushed her to the ground and forcibly stole her handbag containing two cellphones, a debit card and $400.
The suspect fled on Westchester Avenue towards Elder Avenue.
The victim refused medical attention on scene.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
