
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo Sunday night of a man sought after he allegedly pushed a 72-year-old woman down the stairs at a Queens subway station over the weekend.
It happened at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, authorities said.
According to officials the victim was walking in the staircase of the Roosevelt Avenue Train station in Jackson Heights, when the suspect kicked her from behind causing her to fall down.
The woman sustained bruising throughout her body, the NYPD said.
The suspect fled on a northbound F train.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospital/ Elmhurst in stable condition.
