NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man and woman who beat up an 89-year-old woman waiting at a Bronx bus stop earlier this week.
It happened at approximately noon on Monday, May 19 in the vicinity of 211th Street and White Plains Road in Olinville.
The victim was waiting for an MTA bus when a dispute ensued between her and an unidentified person.
One suspect slapped the victim in the face as the second suspect pushed her, officials said.
The victim fell and sustained serious physical injuries. She was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacob in critical but stable condition.
The first suspect fled on an MTA Bus traveling south westbound, and the second fled on foot southbound on White Plains Road to parts unknown.
