NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Wednesday released a photo of a group of four suspects accused of bashing a woman in the head then dousing her in bleach during a Bronx robbery earlier this month.
At 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, four suspects entered a commercial establishment located at 600 East 138th St. in Mott Haven, authorities said.
According to officials, they approached a 24-year-old woman and struck her with a blunt instrument causing a laceration to her head.
The suspects also took the victim's cellphone and threw bleach on her before exiting the establishment.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
The group fled the location on foot to parts unknown.
