NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released video of a man wanted for beating and slamming a woman into the seats of an MTA bus in an unprovoked attack last month in the Bronx.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., on Thursday, April 7, a 42-year-old woman was sitting on the BX31 bus at the corner of East 225 Street and Schieffelin Avenue in Edendwald, when the man sitting next to her began punching and slamming her into seats causing her to sustain injuries to her face and body, officials said.
The suspect then exited the bus and fled on foot toward Laconia Avenue on East 225 Street.
The victim was taken to Montefiore Hospital for her injuries in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a bald, dark-skinned male, approximately in his 30's, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing an army green jacket and dark blue jeans.
