NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was critically injured by a hit-and-run e-biker on Manhattan's East Side on Friday, and a man was also fighting for his life after getting hit by a car in Brooklyn, the NYPD said.

A man on an e-bike plowed into the 59-year-old woman shortly after 7:30 a.m. at East 38th Street and Second Avenue in Murray Hill.

She was entering the crosswalk when she was struck by the cyclist as he zoomed down the bike lane, according to police. He fled the scene and was still being sought Friday.

The woman was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where she was listed in critical condition.

A man was also critically injured in Brooklyn after he was struck by a car, police said.

The victim, believed to be in his 40s, was hit in front of 962 54th St. in Borough Park just after 8:30 a.m.

He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was also listed in critical condition.

It's not yet clear if the driver stayed at the scene of that crash.
