NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in Queens early Thursday morning.
It happened a around 3:35 a.m. on Cross Bay Boulevard and Pitkin Avenue in Ozone Park, cops said.
According to officials, the 55-year-old woman was struck by a white SUV that continued driving north on Cross Bay Boulevard.
EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.
Authorities have not released a description of the driver of the white SUV.
An investigation remains ongoing.
