NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 31-year-old woman was robbed while waiting for a train at a Coney Island subway station Thursday, police said Friday as they released video of the brazen theft.

The victim was standing on the northbound F line platform at the West 8 Street-NY Aquarium train station around 1:20 a.m. when the suspect approached her and forcefully grabbed her purse, which had cash, keys, credits cards and other items.
Video shows that the impact of the forceful approach caused the woman to fall to the ground.
Police said she dropped her phone as she fell, and the man picked it up and fled the station.
Cops said the man has black hair, is around 6'0" tall and weighs around 175 pounds.
