NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was arrested after she flew into John F. Kennedy International Airport with cocaine pellets hidden “on and in” her body, officials said Tuesday.

The woman, who is a U.S. citizen, flew into JFK Airport from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on Friday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a press release Tuesday morning.

As CBP officers were inspecting her belongings, they discovered three cocaine pellets inside her purse, the agency said.

The woman was taken to a private search room, where officers found additional cocaine pellets inside her bra, according to the agency.

The woman then “admitted to CBP officers that she had also inserted pellets vaginally and anally,” the agency said.

In total, the woman was smuggling 100 cocaine pellets valued at more than $94,000, according to the agency. She was charged with importing a controlled substance into the country, the agency said.

“This seizure is another example of our CBP officers being ever vigilant in protecting the United States from the distribution of these illicit drugs,” Marty Rabon, the acting director of CBP’s New York Field Operations said in a statement.
