NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The body of a woman was discovered in Brooklyn's Prospect Park Tuesday—and the victim was suffering from blunt force injuries, police said.
The grim discovery was made by a parkgoer in an area south of Drummer’s Grove and across from 287 Ocean Ave.
The passerby called 911 shortly before 11 a.m. to report the body.

EMS responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
She was suffering from blunt-force trauma to her head, according to police.
The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
Her identity has been withheld pending the notification of her family.
No arrests have been reported in the case.
A man who lives at an encampment in the park told the Daily News that the woman "hung with a guy who used to sell bikes and weed."
"When the sun went down, I heard them arguing and screaming but then it all died down," Thomas Harris told the outlet.
