
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was struck with a chair in a suspected anti-LGBTQ attack in Brooklyn last week, police said Tuesday.
The NYPD released images of the male they're searching for in the attack in East New York on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 5.
The victim, a 35-year-old woman, was in front of 433 New Lots Ave. around 3 p.m. when her attacker made anti-LGBTQIA+ statements, grabbed a chair and struck her in the arm, police said.
He then fled the scene in a white Jeep Compass that was last seen headed westbound on New Lots Avenue, according to cops.
The victim suffered minor injuries and declined further medical attention at the scene.
