NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman pummeled a man with a scooter and her fists in an apparently unprovoked attack at Hudson Yards in Midtown, police said Tuesday as they released images of the suspect.

The 55-year-old victim was standing at West 34th Street and 10th Avenue around 3 p.m. on Oct. 25 when the woman threw a scooter at him, striking him, according to cops.

The circumstances surrounding the assault aren't clear, but police didn't indicate the victim did anything to provoke her.

After hurling the scooter, she punched him in the head and then fled down 10th Avenue on the scooter, police said.

The man was not seriously injured and declined further medical attention at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
