NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 25-year-old man sustained a "severe leg injury" Friday afternoon in Queens after a woman lost control of her car and struck him, the NYPD told 1010 WINS.
The 32-year-old woman lost control of her car on Myrtle Avenue in the Glendale section of Queens around 1:40 p.m., police said.
The woman's vehicle jumped the curb and struck the man.
He was taken to a hospital with a "severe leg injury." He is now in stable condition.
Police do not suspect criminality, but they are investigating why the woman lost control of the vehicle.
