NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was struck and killed by a semi-truck on the Upper East Side Tuesday morning, according to police.
The collision happened at approximately 10:49 a.m. when a woman traveling westbound on a Citi bike against traffic when she was hit by the truck at 49 East 85th Street, officials said.

She was transported to Cornell Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver remained on the scene and no arrests have been made, according to the NYPD.
An investigation remains ongoing.
