NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman was sucker punched in the face by an unprovoked attacker at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center station in Brooklyn, police said Friday as they posted images of the suspect.
The 29-year-old victim was waiting on a platform for a northbound Q train at the Park Slope station on May 23 when she was assaulted just after 8 p.m.
Her attacker came up and punched her in the face multiple times in what police described as an entirely unprovoked beating.
EMS transported the victim in stable condition to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was treated for multiple injuries.
