NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 54-year-old woman was punched in the face Monday in a random attack on a Manhattan sidewalk, authorities said.
The incident happened on Canal Street near Broadway when the attacker came up to the woman and punched her around 8:20 a.m., police said.
She was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Lower Manhattan with a bruised lip, according to officials.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
