NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 37-year-old woman was assaulted and threatened while waiting for the subway at a Bronx station last week, authorities said.
The woman was at the White Plains Road and East Gun Hill Road Station just after 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 15 when she and a man got into a verbal dispute, police said.
The dispute turned physical and the suspect punched the victim in the face multiple times. He then took out a knife and threatened to kill her, according to officials.
Emergency responders transported the woman to Montefiore Medical Center to be treated for head injuries while the man fled the scene.
Cops said the man they are looking for looks to be between 18 and 20 years old.
