NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman was slashed during a Pride celebration at Washington Square Park early Monday morning, days after a man was stabbed to death there.
The woman was attacked after she bumped into one of two people who were arguing in the park, where crowds gathered late Sunday following the annual Pride March.
The person who was bumped then whipped out a knife and slashed her three times, police said.
EMS transported her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
Her attacker was still being sought Monday. Police haven't released any description of them.
The slashing came less than a week after a 35-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the chest in the park last Wednesday afternoon.
