NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a woman who they say berated and spat on a subway rider in a suspected hate crime on a train in Park Slope last week.

The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force released images Tuesday of the suspect they're searching for in last Monday's attack at the Bergen Street station.

The 30-year-old victim was standing on a platform at the station shortly after 2 p.m. when the woman came up and started arguing with her.

After the two boarded a train, the woman made anti-Asian remarks and spat on the victim, police said.

She was last seen fleeing the train at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center station.

The victim wasn't physically injured but sought a medical evaluation by private means, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
