NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man accused of stabbing a 45-year-old woman in the neck in Greenwich Village early Wednesday morning.
The attack happened at about 6:17 a.m. on Third Street and Sixth Avenue, authorities said.
The woman was stabbed by a man with an unknown sharp object, police said.
She stumbled into the Christopher Street subway station to get help and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue in stable condition, according to officials.
Police are still searching for the attacker and it is being investigated as a potential domestic incident.
