NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a woman who allegedly attacked two workers in a suspected anti-Asian hate crime at a Chinese restaurant in Harlem last week.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force released an image of the suspect Monday as police investigate the assault.
A man and woman were working inside Empire Chinese Restaurant at 2419 Seventh Ave. around 2:30 p.m. on April 6, when the suspect made anti-Asian remarks to them, police said.
She grabbed the hair of one worker, a 42-year-old woman, and dragged her to the ground, according to police.

She then set her sights on the other worker, a 48-year-old man, punching him in the head and face, splitting his lip, police said.
The victims suffered minor injuries and declined additional medical attention at the scene.
