NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a woman involved in a brazen broad-daylight stabbing of a teen aboard an MTA bus in Queens earlier this week.
It happened on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at approximately 3:40 p.m. when a 16-year-old boy was traveling on a southbound Q25 bus near 82-74 Parsons Blvd. According to officials, the teenager was approached by the woman who stabbed him once in the abdomen unprovoked.
The suspect exited the bus at the intersection of Parsons Boulevard and 82nd Drive and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the boy to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jamaica in stable condition.
The woman was last seen wearing a burgundy jacket, teal sweatpants, black socks, white sneakers and seen carrying a black purse.
