NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a woman who allegedly tried to kidnap a 4-year-old boy before she was stopped by a good Samaritan in Brooklyn this week.
The NYPD released images Tuesday of the woman they're searching for in the attempting kidnapping in Crown Heights.
According to police, the child was standing in front of the McDonald's at 1133 Eastern Pkwy. around 5 p.m. Monday when she tried to take him by force.
She was stopped by a good Samaritan who stepped in to help the boy, sources said.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on Utica Avenue on foot, according to cops.
The boy was not physically harmed in the encounter, police said.
