NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The body of a woman was pulled from a creek in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The NYPD received a call around 11 a.m. of a body floating in Pugsley Creek in the area of Gildersleeve and Husson avenues in the Clason Point section.

A 58-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Her identity hasn't yet been released.

Police are investigating her death as the medical examiner works to determine the cause.
