NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was found dead in the ceiling of an Elmhurst, Queens apartment building Saturday night, the NYPD said.
At 10:40 p.m. on Saturday officials found a woman, 56, unconscious and unresponsive at 89-10 Whitney Ave., near Hampton Street.
Police said that the body was found lodged between the ceiling and wall.
The woman did not show any signs of trauma, officials said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
