
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police discovered the remains of a dismembered woman stuffed into a duffle bag in Queens on Saturday morning.

A 911 call reported the bag around 8:18 a.m., and officers found it under the Jackie Robinson Parkway on the sidewalk of Metropolitan Avenue at the Union Turnpike near Forest Park Drive.
The woman’s identity and the circumstances of her death are not yet known.
The chief medical examiner will study the remains and an investigation is underway, according to police.
