Would-be rapist attacks, robs woman at knifepoint in Queens: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A would-be rapist attacked and robbed a woman at knifepoint in Queens on Friday evening, police said Saturday as they released surveillance video of the suspect.

The 58-year-old woman was walking northbound on 92nd Street, near 89th Avenue, in Woodhaven at 6:30 p.m. when the man came up to her from behind and pushed her to the ground, police said.

The man pulled out a knife and got on top of the woman, according to police, who said he then covered the woman's mouth, told her not to scream and pulled down her pants. He then bit her on her left hip, police said.
