Yolanda Vega, 66, is retiring after 32 years of calling the winning numbers.

New York Lottery made the announcement in a tweet on Monday writing, "We truly hit the jackpot by having her as a part of the New York Lottery family."

Since 1990, New Yorkers with lottery tickets in hand would eagerly sit in front of their TVs to see the Brooklyn native come on screen and hear her iconic introduction: "I'm Yolandaaaaa Vega, now here's tonight's number."

In addition to hosting the lottery drawings, Vega would often present winners with their checks.

In a 2019 appearance on the "Wendy Williams Show," Vega talked about her career saying, "I've been doing this job over 30 years and all my friends are retiring and they're pressuring me. I love my job. I love giving away millions of dollars and announcing the numbers on TV. I love it passionately... I love what I do."
