NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man was arrested Saturday night after stabbing his roommate for playing music too loud, police said.
The 31-year-old victim was playing music in his Bellmore apartment around 10:15 p.m. when he got into an argument with his 61-year-old roommate Frank Liguori, authorities said.
Liguori eventually stabbed the victim in the chest. The man then went to a nearby 7-11 to get help, according to officials.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment while police arrested Liguori, cops said.
Liguori was charged with 2nd and 3rd degree assault as well as criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned on Sunday.
