MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death near a Westchester church on Saturday, police said.
Mount Vernon police were notified about the man lying on the ground at North Columbus and East Lincoln avenues near the First Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m.
Responding officers found him unconscious with a stab wound to the chest.
He was rushed to Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name is being withheld at this time pending family notification.
No arrests have been reported.
