
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 70-year-old man was fatally struck by a train at a Queens subway station Tuesday after jumping in front of it, police said.
The man, whose identity was not released, was at the Parsons Boulevard F train station in Briarwood around 1 p.m. when the incident happened.
After jumping in front of the train, the conductors cut power and FDNY officials removed him from the tracks. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cops said no criminality is suspected.
