NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 76-year-old man died after his car plunged into the chilly waters off a Suffolk County marina Thursday night, police said.
Police received a 911 call at 6:20 p.m. and found the 2020 Jaguar SUV in the water at the Bay Shore Marina in Bay Shore.
The driver, Albert Williams, of Brentwood, was pulled from the water.
He was transported to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the accident.
