STAFFORD, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a man accused of shoplifting nearly $1,800 worth of merchandise at a New Jersey supermarket during 43 separate incidents over a two-month period.
Daquan Nieves, 28, was arrested on Jan. 9, and charged with shoplifting, Stafford police said.
According to police, Nieves stole approximately $1,793 of merchandise from a ShopRite located on Route 72 West in Manahawkin over a period of approximately two months.
Nieves was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River and will appear in Ocean County Superior Court at a later date, authorities said.
